Hi Jim! I think I used a blowdryer to heat up the decal and then it peeled right off. Mine were all under clearcoat. I use a product I have had for about ten years called "Colour Match". It is a wax/dye. It fills in scratches and where the decals were. I spray painted the side panels. I even removed the small black and silver name-plate (Suzuki) off the rear of the backrest! Hope this helps! I still can not find that decal site for the Indian sticker!
